This is your chance to be a member of a real fighting arts school.
We
are one of the leading schools in the UK for the strategy of pressure
point fighting. We are also honoured to be an authorised
Aikido
dojo within the
Komyokan
Aikido Association
Now the lovely thing
about all this is that anyone can do it. Anyone at
all. And
there is a very good reason for that.
You may have noticed our name - Lone Pine Ryu
'Ryu' is a traditional Japanese word that means school, but also has a
deeper meaning - flow of energy and intellect.
'Ryu' means you belong to a school of people who come together and help
each other improve their spirit of survival.
There
is no rank - no grading - no belts - and no egos. Everyone is a
student and everyone is a teacher. The only challenges are
the
ones that you set for yourself.
It has taken us 30 years to get the balance right and we'd like you to
come and share it with us
